Thoughts and prayers to all of Jimmy's family from just two of the hundreds of friends that he had. He not only cut our son's hair for many years, he provided us with some great music to dance to at various clubs in town. He was so looking forward to The Honkey Tonk Exhibit that will open Sept. 19th at the Museum of No. TX History, but he left us with some great memories with his interview and his song. We'll hear you again some time with The Angel Band in Heaven. RIP, our friend

Susan and I want to express our deepest sympathy for your loss. We had really gotten close to Jimmy these last few months while working on the history exhibit over the honky-tonks. I am so thankful for the time I got to spend with him working on the interview and the song. May God bless you all, Kenny and Susan Mayo

Jimmy was a very good friend to the late Jack Bogan, in which I got the honor of meeting Jimmy. He was a very sweet man and was thought very highly of by Jack! Please know I send condolences to the family and my thoughts and prayers are with y'all from me and Jack! They will be up there in Heaven just a playing their guitars and singing up a storm.

Rita, We are so sorry to hear about Jimmy. I was shocked when Sue texted me. He was such a sweet man. We really enjoyed hearing him play the guitar when he played with Heart of Texas Roadgang. His smile will be greatly missed as he always had one on his face when we seen him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family during this difficult time.
